Philanthropy

The secret to great living is great giving, whether it be in the form of donations or noble action.

A philanthropist is not only a person who gives money or material possessions; but their time, experience and skills to create a better world – therefore we can all contribute something.

How we Help

Every quarter of the year, we will bring attention to a worthy cause by listing an organisation in need of assistance.

Our charitable cause for the Spring season 2026 is Alzheimers Dementia Support.

About Alzheimers Dementia Support.

People affected by Dementia and their Carers experience isolation, loneliness, anxiety, depression, they are often overwhelmed by a mixture of caring responsibilities alongside other responsibilities. ADS offer dementia-friendly, welcoming, and supportive services, that allows our members to enjoy activities that they can still do in a welcoming and positive environment. We provide them with the opportunity of feeling part of a community that is going through the same experience and can provide friendship, understanding and advice.

We also offer constructive practical guidance on Dementia Caregiving techniques, support with navigating available council support in addition to our wide range of Support Services.

Our Dementia Support Services are designed to help people in the local community whose lives are directly or indirectly affected by Dementia. We strive to make a difference by helping those impacted cope better whilst giving them the opportunity to experience a little joy and laughter during these challenging times.
